---1.Brief Overview---
----------------------

RetroCopy is an extremely accurate emulator, media player and 3D playground. It emulates thousands of games, can play nearly any movie/video type you can throw at it and allows you to do all this in a 3D environment if you choose.

RetroCopy's goal when it comes to emulation is to be accurate above all else. It is the most accurate emulator for every system it currently covers, and is the only emulator with multiple cycle accurate systems covered. RetroCopy also has other goals like better documentation of the systems it covers and the ability to combine media like cover scans, screenshots, hints, tips, etc.

It is coded in fast C++ and has a custom made GUI engine, custom made sound engine and custom made graphics engine. It is unique in many aspects.

RetroCopy is not affiliated with Sega, Nintendo or any other company. It is up to each user to use RetroCopy in a manner that complies with their local laws.

--2.Installing Games--
----------------------

Place your unzipped ROMs in the game folders and run RetroCopy. It will convert them when you click on the appropriate system in the ROM browser.

Example 1. You have a Nintendo ROM in .NES format. You place it in c:\retrocopy\nes .
Example 2. You have a Sega Megadrive ROM in .GEN / .MD / .BIN format. You place it in c:\retrocopy\megadrive
Example 3: You have an arcade game in .ZIP format. You place it in C:\retrocopy\arcade

For all these examples it is assumed you installed RetroCopy to C:\retrocopy\ . If you installed to a different folder you will have to change the folder in the example to that of your install directory.

Once you have placed the files in the appropriate game directory run RetroCopy. It should auto detect the files you have placed there when you switch to the system you added files to. After it has finished converting them you should be able to run them.

---------------------------
--3.Video and Audio Files--
---------------------------

Place any movie or audio files in the videos subdirectory. By default this should be C:\retrocopy\videos\ . When you select the video section in the RetroCopy browser it will display all the files in this directory.

RetroCopy uses the same video/audio codecs that the popular VLC media player uses. As such it supports a wide range of formats and codecs. This includes .AVI .MP3 .MPG .MP4 .WAV etc.

-----4.3D Game Room and Editor------
------------------------------------

RetroCopy has a 3D Game Room that you can run around in and edit. You can configure the buttons used to move around the room in the options area. If you look at a 3D television screen and press the USE button you will be able to load videos and games to 3D screens of your choice.
